Brand

Brand voice informs content.

Having a voice not only makes clear to your audience who you are and what you stand for, it can also humanize the brand to be more relatable, which influences decision-making dramatically, especially on social media where the private and public lives are integrated.

What inspires you? What content are you watching? What is your style of humor?

Knowing your voice then easily informs what content you produce, how you say it and even when or how frequently you say it.

 

These are only a few of the questions that we brainstormed for the brand identity of LA Hustle Movement.

 

Content

Give the people what they want.

Once you know your target audience and what they care about, it’s important to also give them the content they want in the format they want.

Are you prioritizing quantity for the algorithm over quality? Should you create infographics or animated text videos? Do you share other artists’ work?

Depending on the purpose of your social media, intentionally creating content that may go viral could also be worthwhile as it can only take one post to win the lottery.

 

I strategized and created content for Sunrise Movement Los Angeles when they were at around 600 followers. Today they have grown to over 9,000 followers.
